Nilesh Nirbhavane, who appeared as a backup dancer in recently released Bollywood film ABCD2, has been under arrest for supposedly raping a mentally challenged young girl. The boys were taken into the custody by the Pant Nagar police when the minor labelled a distinctive feature two cracked front teeth of her rapist.
As stated by the police, the suspect has been recognized as Nilesh Nirbhavane (20), a dancer by occupation. Nilesh in recent times acted in an Indian first 3D dance film ABCD2 as a backup dancer, according to an inspecting police official. Pant Nagar Police said Nirbhavane and another suspect would take the 14-year-old teen girl to public toilets or other remote spots and rape her.
The complaint registered on June 25 by Police, the teen girl has suspected that she had been raped by three people since May. The stayer had named three folks as accused.
The case filed under Sections 376D (gang rape), 377 (unnatural offences) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Indian Penal Code, along with relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.
Even though Nilesh Nirbhavane has been jailed to police custody till July 4, police are still on the hunt for the other accused in the case.
