Sandeep Kishan latest hit film Ra Krishnayya has ran into copyrights problems. Bollywood movie ‘Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya’ makers; Tips film Production Company smacked lawful notices to Telugu film Ra Krishnayya makers, blaming that the movie is a clean copy of their picture in every viewpoint including plot, form, manner, series arrangement and even on-screen characters style and non-verbal communication. They say that the makers have not picked up agreement for the revamp and want to attract them to courts or claim heavy payment for encroaching their copyrights.
On the other hand Ra Krishnayya makers discredit these claims saying that their movie was motivated from English movie ‘A Life Less Ordinary’ by Danny Boyle, from which the Hindi creators also motivated. As both the cinemas are inspired from the same movie, there may be a few matches which are chance and fluke. Ra Krishnayya despite the terrible talk wound up as a commercial film for buyers and distributors in all the territories. The film was made with a budget of Rs. 5.5Cr and the money was earned from the first week collections and the satellite rights.
Previous same situation faced by Sidharth, Samantha starrer Jabardasth. Yash Raj films filed case against the film claiming that it’s a free make of Band Bajaa Baraat. This time Tips raised the issue on Ra Ra Krishnayya; we have to wait and see what will happen next.
