Ringing the alarm bells, cyber
security detectives have given advice the Internet users in the Indian
cyberspace to keep lookout on all kinds of random activities on their PC.
The security caution has been
issued when the body detected several susceptibilities in most popular web
browsers Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.
Bearing in mind the importance
of these suspicious virus-based actions, the detectives have suggested the
Internet users to upgrade the individual versions of these two most used web
browsers on their systems or laptops.
In the newest advisory, the
Computer Emergency Response Team of India (CERT-IN) said: “Multiple susceptibilities
have been reported in Mozilla Firefox, Thunderbird and SeaMonkey which could be
exploited by a remote attacker to sidestep certain security limitations,
disclose possibly sensitive information, gain escalated privileges, execute
arbitrary code and causes denial of service condition on the pretentious
system,” to online users in the country.
