Full number portability from today : One Nation, One Number
Mobile users can retain their mobile numbers across the country all operators deciding to launch the full mobile number portability (MNP) service on Friday to meet a deadline set by the government. Airtel, Idea, Vodafone and Reliance communications as state run and BSNL will allow customers to retain their mobile numbers if they shift to a new place .Actually for this MNP service has been occurred on May 3 but some operators are not ready for that day so it will be postponed to two months and finally it will occurred on July 3 set as deadline by government. In this case all the networks says, Airtel network said that customers can enjoy with special offers like processing requests and its network has free incoming on roaming until the process is completed, idea network said that the idea has been the own MNP leader with over 14 million net gain of customers through intra circle MNP service. The company is ready to own MNP service to retain their numbers from their service; reliance said that it is ready to retain the numbers on July 3 itself. They are planning to offer attractive plans to customers and the users in the network are 97.33 crores at the end of April. So, all the networks saying that the best network to retain the numbers itself.
