Trending Indian Fashion: Award shows, weddings, Diwali parties… Bollywood had no lack of occasions to dress up for this year. While some chose traditional drapes, others went experimental.
Saris: It’s safe to say the sari is one Indian garment that will never go out of style. While Katrina Kaif and Kangana Ranaut picked sheer versions with embroidered blouses, Aditi Rao Hydari and Tabu picked theatrical shades of red.
Lehengas: Diwali 2015 saw lehengas make a huge comeback. From Athiya Shetty to Malaika Arora Khan and Neha Dhupia, everyone gave the silhouette a try. Some of the year’s most interesting looks: Anushka Manchanda’s psychedelic skirt, Jacqueline Fernandez’s caped version, and newly-wed Soha Ali Khan’s hot pink Sanjay Garg.
Anarkalis: By far the most comfortable Indian ensemble around, the anarkali received lots of love from Kareena Kapoor Khan (who picked a gold Sabyasachi), Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty too.
