A committee to review ‘Denikaina Ready’

The AP Government has finally decided to mediate the ongoing controversy between film actor Mohan Babu and Brahmin associations over the issue of unfavourable representation of Brahmins in the movie 'Denikaina Ready. The AP government has appointed a special committee to see the movie on Wednesday. SWP secretary (Social Welfare principal secretary) Raymond Peter has been appointed as the chairman of the committee and Commissioner, Information & Public Relations Chandravadan as secretary. Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce Committee (APFC) President Thammareddy Bharadwaj also named in the committee.

The Andhra Pradesh government will issue a GO soon to announce the other members of the committee. The committee members will watch the movie and suggest few changes.

The Andhra Pradesh based Brahmins Community organisations agitating against this movie contest that few scenes are objectionable and hurt their feelings. The Brahmin Communities continued with their protests going on a rally to Raj Bhavan ,Somajiguda and gave a memorandum to Governor also. Later they protest in front of Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber office. "Once AP government announces the committee members, we will watch the movie and give our suggestions," says Thammareddy Baradwaja. The Raymond peter, Chandravadan committee may watch the movie on Thursday afternoon around 2 O clock.
