BJP leader Tiger Narendra Passes away, BJP leader Tiger Narendra Dead, BJP leader Tiger Narendra Dies, BJP leader Tiger Narendra No More, BJP leader Tiger Narendra Died Hyderabad: Senior leader of BJP and former Union minister Aley Narendra (68), better known as ‘Tiger’ Narendra to his followers, has breathed his last here on Wednesday. 

Narendra was admitted to Nampally Care Hospital for treatment after he turned critically ill, vowing to a bronchial ailment. Narendra earned the sobriquet of ‘Tiger’ due to his brave approach to issues. And he was Hyderabad city’s very own leader. He was MLA between 1983 and 1994. He was elected to the Lok Sabha in 1999 for the first time. After being elected to Lok Sabha in 2004 on TRS ticket from Medak, he served as Union minster of state for two years. Before he joined Telangana Rashtra Samithi in 2004, he was a senior leader of Bharatiya Janata Party. He launched a party called Telangana Sadhana Samithi(TSS), which later on merged with the TRS.

Narendra has been in politics for the past four decades. TRS and its chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao suspended him from the party after allegations were levelled against him in the passport scam.  He returned to BJP on July 27, 2011, after having a brief stint in Congress party.  BJP senior leader M. Venkaiah Naidu, Telangana unit chief G. Kishan Reddy paid their last respects to the leader. TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, TPCC president Ponnala Lakshmaiah and other leaders expressed their condolences.
