Jai Ho is a documentary film based on AR Rehman's life, who bagged an Oscar, a Grammy and a Golden Globe award for his music in Slumdog Millionaire film directed by Danny Boyle. Jai Ho, directed by Umesh Aggarwal, traces the journey of AR Rahman's professional and personal life. It explores the evolution of his style of music-a fusion of Eastern sensibilities and Western technology.

Jai Ho reportedly includes concert footage and interviews with the music maestro himself as well as director Danny Boyle, Shekhar Kapur, Mani Ratnam.

AR Rahman has given more than 120 film scores worldwide, including films like Roja (1992), Earth (1998), Lagaan (2001), The Hundred Foot Journey (2014), and Million Dollar Arm (2014).

Indian playback singer Shreya Ghoshal, who has recorded songs for film music in Hindi, Tamil , Bengali , Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Nepali, Assamese, Bhojpuri, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya, and Punjabi tweeted about this documentary and expressed her feeling on his twitter account:
