'Kochadaiiyaan' Audio Postponed to January

Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming retro film 'Kochadaiiyaan' audio release postponed to January, which was scheduled to take place on his 63rd birthday (December 12) and the movie release postponed to April 2014.

A.R. Rahman has composed music for this flick and Rajinikanth has given his voice for a song in 'Kochadaiiyaan'.


'Kochadaiiyaan' will be dubbed and concurrently released in Telugu (as "Vikrama Simha"), Malayalam and English. The movie also stars R. Sarathkumar, Aadhi and Jackie Shroff among others.


Rajinikanth's younger daughter Soundarya R Ashwin making her directional debut with this film and the move narrates the story of an 8th century Pandiya King, Kochadaiyaan Ranadhiran.


'Kochadaiiyaan' is hyped to be India's first motion imprisonment technology (MOCAP) movie being made along the lines of Hollywood movies like 'Avatar, Polar Express' and 'Tin Tin'.
