Movies falls down to 100 days to 0 days ???
In Indian Cine Industry, once upon a time when a movie was released, those movies were in theaters for atleast an year and continues. Later on, in mid of 90's-2000's movies were almost played for 100 days. Move onto 2000's- 2010's, movies were almost played for 50 days and few movies which were the block busters were played 100 days. After 2010, No movies were being played not more than a month and the producers are closing their business and movies were telecasted in TV after 2 months of movie release. But, in Malayalam cine industry, Still 100 days scenario is continuing till date. Recent super hits of Malayalm, Premam, Neram, Bangalore Days and so many movies were played in theaters more than 100 days and now, Dulquer's recent movie "Charlie" completed its 75 days and running successfully towards 100days and now Fahadh's "Mahesinte Pratikaram" is running successfully heading towards 50 days.
why do other industries producers are closing their business for 30 days only even though movies were big hits ???
The reason because, Education creates awareness in society about the problems but Educated people are addicted in using Wifi Services like 3G, 4G and encouraging piracy like DVD's and sharing mobile-mobile instead of enjoying movies at theaters. Even uneducated people are using mobile and educated people are providing piracy to them and producers are travelling in losses, for some movies producers are paying in-return to theater owners to complete 50days. Cause of this, cost of tickets are going high day-by-day. So, there is no 100days and not even 25 days in any Indian Cine industry except Malayalam.
