Writer claims copyright violation Krrish3 Moved to High Court

Hirtik Roshan starrer Krrish 3 is facing a problem with an author from Madhya Pradesh. The writer stirred the Bombay High Court claiming copyright defilement of the script and looking for a stop on the film’s release this Friday if not he was given a recompense of Rs 2Cr

Writer Udhay Singh Rajput filed an appeal claiming he had written the script for the movie titled Krrish-2 which was a follow-up to Krrish movie.

On the other hand, he said he was being starved of the credit for writing the story. Krrish-3 producer Rakesh Roshan has also filed a warning in the High Court arguments that no respite should be granted to Uday Singh Rajput if not he (Rakesh Roshan) is heard in the substance and both the requests would be heard by Justice S J Kathawala tomorrow.

Udhay Singh Rajput claimed he had listed his script titled Krrish-2 film with the Film Writers Association on 23rd July, 2008. After that, he met Rkesh Roshan and provided him the script. Rakesh Roshan vowed to pay him if the script was used.

On the other hand, as a replacement for of paying him, Rakesh Roshan used the same story to make a sequel to Krrish movie and provided the title as Krrish-3 in its place of Krrish-2, Udhay Singh Rajput alleged. The writer further alleged Rakesh Roshan had promoted in electronic media that he himself was the script writer of Krrish-3, even though earlier the court in his request Rakesh Roshan has specified that the script was written by Rubin Bhatt and the story was listed on 3rd March, 2011.

Udhay Singh Rajput demanded his story had been used by Rakesh Roshan to make the movie Hritik starrer Krrish-3 which was being released on 1st November 2013 and wanted a stay on its release up to the substance was decided and a recompense of Rs 2Cr paid to him.
